I am not including duplications of tracks that I have on collections, or as “bonus tracks” on other releases. For example, the Minutemen’s, “Paranoid Time” EP, is included in the, “Post-Mersh, Vol. 3″, collection. But I not putting that type of duplication on this list. I would only list it if I had more than one copy of, “Paranoid Time”, itself. But since it was released as a part of, “Post-Mersh Vol. 3″…it’s not on the list.

My favorite vocalist of all-time, Mr. Ronnie James Dio, died three years ago today. I still listen to his music, literally, almost every day. And I see no chance of that EVER changing!

R.I.P. Mr. Dio, and we could never thank-you enough for the art you brought to this world.

Top 5 Artists I Own the Most Music Product By

Wednesday, May 9th, 2012

1.) Black Sabbath = 56 items*
2.) Metallica = 26 items
3.) Black Flag = 24 items
4.) Iron Maiden = 17 items
5.) Autopsy = 17 items

This list includes the total number of: vinyl 12″ LP’s, picture discs, colored vinyl, vinyl 10″ mini-LP’s, vinyl 7″ 45′s, CD’s, DVD’s, VHS tapes, albums, live albums, greatest hits/compilations, and tribute albums. I am not including anything that someone, “burned”, or “copied”, for me. I also am not including any “mp3′s”…because I’ve never paid for, or stolen, any “mp3′s” in my life. I have only downloaded free stuff, authorized by artists and labels…and that stuff is also not included in this list. This is all old-school “product”.

This list does not include everything I’ve ever purchased by these artists because I used to trade and sell a lot of stuff. I have sold, or traded, LP’s, CD’s, CT’s, VHS tapes, picture discs, etc. by all of the bands listed above.

*The Black Sabbath total doesn’t include the later Dio stuff, released under the band name, “Heaven and Hell”. That would add +4 to the overall Sabbath total.
